Each year some of the Nick's folk pool their resources and sponsor a player. I have found it very exciting to be involved in this and also there are prizes to be won.
From Marg Oz comments it appears we need more fans to be involved--Please go to the Player sponsorship thread and get involved. Doesn't cost much -only what you can afford to chip in and it is fun!

We are currently around $800 short of the total needed to sponsor a player this year.
You can contribute anywhere from $10 upwards if you would like to be involved.
The more the merrier!
Please send me a PM or post in the Sponsorship Forum if you would like to be involved.
We will need to ensure we have enough people willing to contribute in the next couple of weeks if we are to go ahead.
