Sad, wonderful actor & wonderful human being. Died on 14 November. Many people will remember him as the bigot, racist & sexist Alf Garnett in the wonderful sitcom "Till Death us do Part" with his ( sitcom daughter) - Tony Blair's wife - Cheree Booth (nee Blair)
Amazing to think now what we deemed as acceptable back in the late 60's early 70's

Hell yeah, Alf Garnett was one of the greatest satirical characters of all time, brilliantly written by Johnny Speight and brought to life by Mitchell in a tour de force of acting. He was a wonderful actor and a good man to boot. RIP Warren. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |
