In last night's game vs Geelong, the combined efforts of the players traded for Dayne Beams amounted to.... wait for it...

77 disposals, 24 tackles, and 1 goal

Nice work. & with Crisp and De Goey still spring chickens & looking like future 200 game players for the pies, there should be plenty more upside to come.

Yesssssssss

Like it.

Possibly something like 450 games to 150 games too

Not sure if Shangri - la would have kept Selwood ( and Cotchin ) that quiet either.

Just don't see us losing out of this one.

Best game for the 3 so far - Greenwood is looking like the perfect tagger and the two young guns De Goey and Crisp are going to be fantastic next year and beyond - well after Beams has retired!

The draft and recruits for 2015 season was the best at Collingwood for a long time when you add Varcoe, Moore and Maynard into the ledger with the above 3 players.

And next year I'm confident we'll be adding the raging bull, Abbott, as a key forward to that impressive list.

Varcoe and Crisp have both had their best seasons.

Crisp is tough, a ball magnet and a very clean user of the footy. He's been fantastic for us.

Last year's trades and drafting has set us up for the next five years. This year's trading/drafting should be icing on the cake (compare Pendles/Thomas in 2008, then Ball/Jolly in 2009).
