Always thought he was a quality bowler but injuries hampered him in the last few years.
All the best to him post-cricket. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

Sad news indeed. He'll be missed. Played a large part in the ashes & against India last year. Sorry to see him go. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

This is ridiculous!? How did he get through that warm-up match if the knee was so bad? This will bite us BADLY. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

His retirement was a loss but I'm not sure he had another double-century in him to make the difference at Trent Bridge. |

Well it is often left to our bowlers to make the runs that the batsmen can't, in these tours.
Point being, he doesn't slaughter the new ball; which Johnston and Hazlewood excelled at in England's last three innings . _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |
