I didn't boo anybody but does that make me a racist as well. Individuals like you make me sick. Who the hell do you think you are labelling people you don't know as racist. You should be ashamed of yourself. |

And my opinion is the same irrespective if a scumbag journalist, a delusional coach or a weak minded sporting administrator. |

we forced Dawes out with a trade against probably his desire, whereas Harry was making pompous speeches at the B&F and being a prima donna for last 2 seasons _________________ I love the Pies, hate Carlscum |

Dawes was horrible in the role they tried him as, and they tried to rectify that, he seemed to take exception to that and wanted to be traded. So far he's really not shown anything at the Dees, so I guess it worked in our favour tbh.
H seems to have had some issues ever since he saw that murder in Brazil, seems to have not played his best and his mind hasn't really been on football. Hopefully the new club will help with that. _________________ Ðavâgé

i really cant believe people cant see the difference between harry and dawes leaving collingwood.
harry was still playing pretty well before he left, where as dawes was below par.
we "lost" harry, and we traded dawes
he thought he was bigger then the club and the game. |

As above. Harry's form was fine but was traded because he was a dick off-field.
Dawes was well liked but didn't make the grade.
Harry played senior games right up until his trade, whilst Dawes lived in our seconds cause he wasn't good enough.
Must be racism though.
Don't people realise that by abusing the racism label you diminish the impact of when it truly happens. |

Both are Collingwood premiership players, I hate to see either do well against us but if it has to be someone I hope it's them. _________________ Defender...........

I wouldn't Boo someone who wasn't good enough and got traded. Its not their fault and the trade to a dud club is punishment enough.
I am happy to boo someone if despite good infield performance they were traded for bad behaviour. Its a big sacrifice to the club to get rid of one of your best because he can't be reigned in.
"The Prince" did not respect his coach and publicly challenged him. Well deserving of a boo regardless of his skin colour. |

Lamumba and Dawes are treated differently by supporters because they left under different circumstances.
Lamumba asked to be traded. Dawes was forced out.
It's the same as with Thomas and Shaw.
Dale Thomas gets booed because he wanted to leave.
Heath Shaw didn't want to leave but was forced out, so he doesn't get booed.
Having said that, booing a (former) Collingwood premiership player can never be justified, IMO. |

I didn't boo either of them - I was too busy shouting at Collingwood players. Seriously, when many in your own team are playing like buffoons, how do you find time to bother with the other side? |
