And he makes both kicks and the Pats now lead again by 7. The Collingwood boy has 21 points for the game. 59 seconds to go and the Seahawks bore us all with another full timeout. |

And the Seahawks take another 20 second timeout.
Then the Pats take a full timeout.
There are 27 second to go and the Pats lead by 4. A TD will win this for the Seahawks. |

And LBJ kicks another two free throws. The Pats lead by six and - somehow - there are still 27 seconds to go. |

Iguadola misses the three-pointer, the Pats rebound and run out the clock to win by 5, 96 to 91. Dellevedova finished with 20 points and will get the Norm Smith Medal for best Collingwood-supporter on the park (he certainly won't get the MVP, LBJ will get that for his 40 points, 237 rebounds and generally beating the opposition all over the park on his own, I expect).
So, the Pats lead this series 2:1. And, who knows, in 2 more miserable games it could be finally over. |

^^^ Yes, JW. I'm waiting on OEP's report to let us know if the 49ers have shown any interest. |

I'll watch Bball over soccer any day of the week, but haven't watched it for years.
James is bloody good, serious skill levels in such a big man and Delly is kicking arse and taking names. He's the cinderella story (cue Bill murray from Caddyshack whacking the flowers).
Read some really good articles about what a smart bloke Dell is and how motivated he is to learn and self improve. Always wish a bloke with a work ethic like that all the best.
The other Aussie in the playoffs, Bogut, is a far better player but isn't having anywhere near the impact. If Cleveland win this, LBJ and Delly will be immortalised. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Love me some basketball, but it certainly has its flaws.
It's about the only game I know where a blowout is better to watch than a close one. Hopefully someone can change the "last 2 minute" foul rule which seems to be on the cards.
From what I saw of game 3, (not the whole thing I must admit), Cleveland went on their runs with Dellavedova on court and Golden State looked like coming back when Shumpert (with a real cool 1989 flat-top haircut :lol : ) was guarding Curry.
Good on him.
Especially as he's a fellow Collingwood supporter. _________________ "I am a great sage, equal of heaven.

^^^ Although I would never go so far as to watch the basketball (which is, of course, much less interesting than following the schematic representation of the "live" game), it was quite obvious in the last quarter that every time Shumpert came on, Curry took the ascendancy.
It actually seemed like only the President and Dellavedova were having any positive influence on the game for them (and statistically speaking, they either scored or assisted in almost the whole of their team's points). |

Well, you were right, DTM.
Who did we say Dellavedova supports in the AFL? |
