I used to be undecided, but now I'm not so sure.

5 disposals and 1 goal at the 10 minute mark of the second.

Wayne Carey eat your heart out.

A few clubs will be kicking themselves they overlooked McCarthy.

4 goals and not for the first time this season.

At least we have Moore but I want more, more, more!

Mr Wren. I must agree with you (surprise surprise) re McCarthy being a regret. Given at the end of 2013 we would have realised that the Q stick selection wasn't going to work and Darcy Moore was 12 months-2 years away. So with a rare 2 selections in the top 10 I at the time wanted a gun mid or utility (Scharenberg/Bontempelli type) and a gun tall of which Cameron McCarthy was the most touted of this type. Freeman hopefully works out but structurally would have made good sense.

Again captain hindsight is never wrong.

I was a big advocate of getting McCarthy in 2013. It sucks that I was right about him... Sad

Agree. McCarthy seems to be the one we missed, not the other two. I would have liked to See Kelly taken, but with the list filled by the unexpected availability of Langdon and Marsh, there was really no opportunity to do that.

How did Stewart go today?

Look, he was just too good. If he hadn't taken 9 marks, 5 of them contested, and kicked 5 goals 2, we probably could have competed with them.

Oh, you mean the other bloke whose Dad used to play for Richmond?

He did what he always does - slipped away for an early goal, "dominated early" as the scribes would have it and then failed to touch the ball for - well - basically the rest of the game.

The kid showed some promise but also showed why we weren't prepared to pay a high draft pick for him.
