Not sure if it is a win. I will wait to the end of the season.

Travelling interstate was always hard for him , was often on the TAA plane.

No he flew Ansett!

He's been very good so far and seems to have settled in really well and his body language has been fantastic. He really looks to have embraced a new start for himself with us and made a few (lot?) of doubters eat their words.

My old man and brother are both mad Cats fans and reckoned Varcoe was still very capable and would be good for us when the trade was announced. They thought after being shopped around prior to 2014 on top of some injury riddled years had left him maybe feeling unhappy and underappreciated at Geelong and being felt wanted and valued by the Pies may be all he needed to produce his best form, and it is looking that way imo.

Travis has brought a great work ethic, run and carry, fantastic pressure acts and some sublime kicking skills and I couldn't be happier for him.

H too looks happier and is playing alright for the Demons. This trade was probably the best thing that could happen for both men and their respective former clubs.

Yep, I have been thrilled with his games, bearing in mind that it usually takes at least half a season (probably more in reality) to settle into a new team and game plan. He is going to become an extremely valuable player for us with his experience, pace and talent. Good recruiting yet again.
