Geez RSA are the masters of snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory.
Since the pooling debacle of 1999, i don't think RSA and Australia have faced each other in any WCC game? It's like the expected unscheduled final that never seems to eventuate, despite being dliberately fixed in opposing pools.
I thought in those last few overs the ABDeV bowled a lollypop that got carted for six, which was critical, when all the other balls of the over were spot-on the mark. And Steyne simply should have slowed his pace in that final over to bowl with more accuracy. That last ball was a putrid stinker and a gift. Allan Donald-like stupidy circa 1999, with dire consequences.
