Now, if I may brag about my locale pub, which is like heaven on earth for sinners!
Read and weep at the Twitter announcements:

Had a lovely pint of rye pale ale tonight.
Let me say, the beer here is out of this world. No wonder the food and broadband are so bad! _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.

Currently drinking some White Rabbit Pale Ale that I got really cheap from Dan Murphys ($10 6 pack). While the price is right, this really isn't that great. I'm no beer critic but it's kind of overly fruity flavour stays too long on the sides of your tongue. Smells ok and pours nicely but I wouldn't be recommending it (except at $10/6) |

Bought some Little Creatures Pale Ale tonight, and it's a really good drop. Even though White Rabbit is owned by the same people (Little Creatures Healsville vs Geelong), and is also a Pale, it's totally different.
I highly recommend this one, and I haven't even finished the first bottle yet. |

^I have a feeling I noticed it on a shelf here recently. Will give it a try.
Apparently the Invalid's Restorative is hard to come by. In addition to having a great name, it was a lovely beer.

This was truly a great Belgian-style beer (brewed somewhere in Dorset!):

It was one of those beers I liked so much it ruined the next pint of whatever it was! |

Well, these infused porters are turning up in numbers. Last week a ginger porter, and today a hazelnut coffee porter!
Don't ask me the brewery and labels as I can't recall, but in terms of flavour combo so far, my ranking is: plum > ginger > hazelnut coffee.
I'm an easy please with quality beers, but if you get the chance to try an infused porter (I think they call it "infused"despite appearances, I'm not into the finer points that much), on my samples thus far I would go a plum porter first. _________________ In the end the rain comes down, washes clean the streets of a blue sky town.
