Come on - don't be shy!

Very Happy Surprised Laughing Idea Smile

If you'd like to have some fun and say you're a part of sponsoring a Collingwood footballer, then head over to the Sponsorship Forum and join in all the action!

Anywhere from $10 upwards will secure you a spot and also put you in the running to win some great prizes including a signed Guernsey and tickets to major CFC events.

Any queries, just send me a PM!

GO PIES!

Running out of time...

Hi gang,

At this stage we are looking like we are not going to have enough contributors to reach the target needed to sponsor a player this year.

We have another couple of weeks to get some more Nicksters on board.

If you are interested in contributing, please post in the sponsorship forum or send me a PM ASAP.

Thanks,
Marg

Here's the sponsorship thread.

http://www.magpies.net/nick/bb/viewtopic.php?t=75920&start=15

C'mon people, don't be shy, there is more to Nicks BB than the General Discussion board. Broaden your horizons, look around a bit, and put some money where your mouth is. Get on board - we're about $800 short of being able to sponsor a player and running out of time.

If you pledge money you need to mean it, not just promise then don't deliver. Get involved. You know you want to. Wink

Hi gang,

We are now only $540 short of our target to sponsor a player this year. Remember, anywhere from $10 upwards is enough to participate.

All newcomers are welcome, and of course we'd love to see our fantastic regulars back again too.

Please go to the sponsorship forum thread above and post an amount you can contribute, or just send me a PM with an amount or any questions.

Fingers crossed!

We have a week to raise the remaining $340 or we will not be sponsoring a player this season.

If you would like to contribute, please advise an amount either in the relevant post in the sponsorship forum, or send me a PM ASAP.

I just suggested to Marg that those who contributed $50 or more to the cause gather together at some event (training, a club sponsored evening etc) and get a 'team' photo taken with our sponsored player each year.

Might be a nice tradition to form. Provides a stronger sense of ownership to contributors, gives some proximity to the player involved etc.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

I like the idea, 2 minor amendments.

1. Anyone who contributed should be able to join in. $10 to someone who has F all is worth more than $100 to someone who's well off.

2. Why not do it before the round 2 game against the cows? Pick a spot outside the stadium to meet and get a group photo with everyone wearing their game day finest?

I like the idea too.

Perhaps those who contributed more can stand closer to the centre. I say Stui & I in the centre with others behind us Wink

You and me in the centre?

If we go by height, we're there.
If we go by good looks, I'm there Razz

Careful calling me a Commie, Tannin is convinced I'm a card carrying member of the Tea Party. Shocked Razz
