After the events of this weak I've made a decision and told a few of my friends I'm leaving town early in the new year.

I'll miss this wonderful little town's charm (& it's many of it's characters) but I just can't take it any more.

That sucks, but you're right, sometimes you just have to look at the priorities and say that it's just not worth it because the impact on your mental and physical health just outweighs anything else.

Once you do get a new house somewhere else, you can always wander past the old place just for a reaction once every now and then, the old paper bag full of dogshit on the front porch, the 44 gallon drum of diesel and super phosphate strategically placed near the bedroom....................

Keep in mind you don't necessarily need to leave the town, just the area.

Sorry to read about your hideous neighbour 3 and that you have decided to move. You will probably feel a lot better having made the decision. Taking up on Stui's theme, I've always been partial to prawns in the hubcaps of foes. I've never actually done it but just thinking about it has cheered me up on occasion. Best wishes

So sorry to hear that mate. Hopefully you can get another place just as nice and not to far away. The town is still your friend, not hers, and will be more so if your the one who has to move. Hugs honey.

I was just going to post, "some days should just not happen, you should just stay in bed" but now I'll be thankful I can stay in my bed, and not be forced to move. Take care mate.

And &%%& it, I need a drink,

Cheers

Ps what's that joke about the prawns in the curtain ends!

Sadly, on this occassion, that man is me. Sad

So sorry to hear that, mate. You had such a beautiful house there, too. Where do you think you'll go?

Bugger 3, that's disappointing but as TP says the town will always be your friend not hers. Good luck in finding another home as good as the one you are leaving. Cheers!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
My next place is going to someplace where the only neighbours I can see will be through binoculars.

I know the big banks are "all the same" but this week the CBA pissed me off. I wont go into too many details but I will say I am 1 month behind on one payment and not only are they calling me on unlisted numbers they are using the incorrect technique of asking me to give them my details to confirm who I am rather than they give me my details and I confirm yes or no. Anyway they have also been withdrawing for example at one point they withdrew $9.00 yes that's nine dollars as part payment. I had=ve my wages paid into this account and also paid all the bills from the CBA as well until this weekend. They called me again Friday night so I warned them I am buying a whistle and I will blow their eardrums out next time they call and I also transfered all my banking to another bank. It took time doing all the bill payments as I make payments on all my bills fortnightly.

I also proceeded to tell the person on the phone how they disgust me, that it takes a certain type to be a debt collector and Karma always bites us sooner or later one way or another.

I set my mobile to automatically reject calls from unlisted numbers.

I only ever got one of those calls where the person wanted me to verify my details and their confusion was brilliant when i just said 'No'.

Blood level score has doubled in 3 months, so in January, we are off for scans to see where it's come back. Ah well, I guess we miss the agony of three monthly visits!

But I'm ok now, I'm more than ready to fight again. Scan appointments already booked.

Give your loved ones a hug tonight, and be thankful you have them, life is too $£$%^%%$ short, and sometimes, too $£$%^%%$ hard. But the devil ain't seen the best of me yet.

Cheers

Wow no ones been pissed off for 11 days, and sadly, that was me!

So I'm sure everyone is lacking sleep right now, really need a good rest after all the cooking, preparing and what not. Yes alcohol too!
Last night I get to bed about 11.30, knowing I'm going to be woken up by at least 2 teenagers at around 4-5am (it was actually at 3.45am, 3 boys 3 girls, none of them paralytic, thankfully, all well behaved, they all flaked it pretty quickly). But having six drunk teens didn't bother me, or being woken up at that ungodly hour. No, it was some moron texting me at 11.50pm, wanting to know what time he could picks some shelves up we sold on eBay, today. Seriously, it couldn't wait? Who does that? Along with the dickwad ringing at lunch time Christmas day, gees, phone etiquette is just dead!

Dogs!

Seeing so many dogs getting lost or pinched atm. Also the animal rescue services have started the annual post Xmas plea for help as dogs start to come into them.

So many people with illegal fireworks now, not just the old penny bangers but serious shit that scares these poor animals.

^ Humans

Who get a dog, a cat or a pet of any variety and then don't take responsibility or care for them properly Twisted Evil

And even more ftards that think buying an animal as a "present" without actual knowing that the recipient is capable or willing to provide the required " more than 5 mins awh cute" care!

And even more the absolute scum that steal dogs for fighting and betting - can I change my mind on the death penalty - put these heroes in cage and let them fight to the death - they won't be missed!!

And dickwads with firecrackers that's a given!!!!

Just spent 15 min running around the street with some kids trying to catch a terrified dog. (Not mine)

We didn't get him.

That's $£$%^%%$ ruined my night. Sad
