It really is an absolute disgrace, it's bloody negligent! For the richest club in the land to not have a FT Ruck coach, a kicking coach, a running coach, a thinking coach, a coach for every line, and a wiping your bum coach if it could possibly help! What the f*** are we spending our vast resources on? Better entertainment in the super boxes? Clever ways to get bums on seats? There is only ONE sure-fire way to get bums on seats, and it's called winning games!
There was so much kerfuffle about the poor attendances last year, and the ridiculous times didn't help, but if we had continued winning - and one of the big reasons few didn't was the poor performances of our obviously talented rucks - we could get 80,000 people to show up at 4AM on Wednesday morning.
Come on Bucks, get it done fer chrissakes!!!

I don't understand why people seem to think we need full-time coaches for every role at the club. Most of the time the players are doing fitness training, both aerobic and weights. Then there's general ball work, hand-balling, kicking, match simulations, including refining and practicing our game-plan. Then there's team meetings...and more meetings. Specialised one on one ruck coaching is but a small component of the overall coaching that goes on at a club. I agree that we need a specialist ruck coach, but it will only ever be a part-time role. Same goes for a kicking coach.

Pretty sure Monkey has other duties aside from the ruck coach at the Whorkes , he seems to play a part on the bench on match days, so he's probably employed full time but only part time as ruck coach, we should be doing similar IMO.

Only if they can KICK STRAIGHT!
We definately need a kicking coach!

Always astounds me, it's called football for goodness sake, what do we have so much trouble with kicking skills?

We don't often agree lately TP, but kicking is my absolute bloody bugbear. As I've said before when a side is finally smart enough to make accurate kicking of the ball as high a priority as Free-Throws in Basketball or Place-kicking in League, Union and NFL. Those guys all need to average in the 90+% range. Imagine if we took set shots at 90%?! We'd dominate the game until the rest caught up a few years later. The current attitude seems to be get 'em fit and the kicking will take care of itself. How does that work?! Hawthorn are easily the league leaders at kicking, but I'm pretty sure they only kick in the 70-80% range.
