Both SF & KC got their 2 runs in the 2nd inning.

SF scorers Sandoval, Pence.
KC scorers Butler, Gordon.

SF get another run in the top of the 4th with Sandoval scoring.


KC had a chance to force extra innings in the bottom of the 9th when Gordon hit out to CF & it was missed catch error advancing him to 3B.
Perez up to bat, pops a foul to Sandoval near 3B & he takes the catch for the win!

How good was MadBum?!?!?

If not for him, MVP would have been out of Pence and Sandoval. I think the Panda might be looking at a huge free agent contract.

As far as Sandoval goes he & at least 99 others have become free agents as of Thursday.
Sandoval 28yo, was offered $40M contract last Spring for 3yrs with the Giants which he rejected, he did say he wants to finish his career with the Giants though, so we'll see what happens. He might end up at Boston they seem to be having 3B woes...

My Sox havent had a good third base since Youkilis. Middlebrooks showed glimpes but has gone cold.
Panda seems to play fairly average during the regular season and then becomes a superstar in the playoffs.

Baseball is a good game during regular season, but a brilliant game during playoffs. Pitching becomes even more important.
Game 7 was a cracker.
