Hine "it's exciting, but again, I think we feel that the playing group is ready to go and the profile of the list is ready to go. Now it's really important that Nathan Buckley and the rest of the coaches can work with them to maximise all players potential ......."

This sounds as if Hine is happy with the list he has put together and it's Nathan's job to achieve with the list that Derek believes has what it takes. I have also heard somewhere that Derek constantly reminds Bucks that Kennedy was drafted to be a crumbling forward pocket, one of the positions we are crying out for someone to step up to, to replace Krak and Neon.

Perhaps the cattle isn't too far off the pace as many would have us believe.

I think the majority opinion tends to support Hines optimism, he's compiled a fantastic group of kids over the last few years.

Small crumbling forward is the no brainer in terms of what we lack.
Broomhead and Kennedy could be the Sidebottom and beams of '09.

Strangely feeling very optimistic about next season considering how we finished off this year.

Injuries will be the only thing that holds us back

Love it. Both can kick a long big goal too! Particularly excited to see what Broomy can do with a full preseason behind him. Agree with injuries but I think our fitness in terms of running out games will need a significant increase if we are to keep up with the rest of the pack next year. So there's another area I think is absolutely vital to our chances of a successful 2015.

i'd rather a crumbing forward rather than a crumbling one. we have a few options. if only he were slightly bigger in stature for afl i'd love to see lachie ferguson in a forward pocket.

Definitely had more than our share of crumbling ones.

The only way I can see Mr Hine's comment to Bucks & the coaches is "Its time to deliver with this group - you've got the talent available to mould this team into a winner".

Am I off the mark about his comment?

If not, 2015 is certainly the acid test for our coaching team.
