I know quite a few Bulldog members. They've been whinging about Higgins (add Ayce Cordy & Liam Jones too) for ages. If they watch him closely and are not impressed, then I pass.

Well who then? If Swanny has another ordinary one we'll be mighty short of mids! It might be Ben Kennedy and JT, and as good as they are they ain't enough yet.

When you invest in a used player you are only partially investing in his past, you are also investing in his potential, you are also investing in what you believe you can do for/with him.....

The boy started out very well in his career, has stagnated, has been injured....he has something we lack CLASS, we are also starting to lack for mid types in general or flankers with skill....

If we applied the same standards to our list throughout the past Dids for one would have been out the door within 5 years....

These types(outside footballers) are still an effective part of a team.

I would be chasing him, I would also be looking at a harder inside mid in the 25+ age group.

North has lodged a free agency offer. The dogs have 72 hours to respond (or not).

$400,000 per year. Talk about paying overs.

North are loading up. They're making a run in the next two years, then I guess they figure they'll be up against the Suns and Giants. Probably a good time to pinch a flag.

According to his manager, should be done by COB today (ie. off to Norf)

Even with these 2 blokes I don't think they are anywhere near it. Worst Prelim Finalist in that last few years. They are over rating their list IMO.

Totally agree. They will have a much tougher draw next year & will slide in my opinion.

IMO, North were overrated this year.

We'll see how they fare with hopefully a much tougher draw next year.

Has officially signed with North. Footscray didn't match the free agent offer.
