Personally I'm thrilled those players re-signed, I see great things for all of them, particularly 'Sweeper', he could be anything given the right development. BenKen is a great - and much underrated - talent too, although his confidence can't have been helped much by the dose of 'green poisoning' he copped this year

But let's be honest, these are kids with half a dozen games under their belts, one taken in the 70's, and two who've had to wait ages for a shot. They care about getting games, very little else. With 2 down for next season already they're sure things at Magpieland. If any of them had left, I'd be TRULY shocked! I'd be revising my 2015 prediction from 8th-10th to 14th-16th.
I'll be more interested in who doesn't sign. If we start 2015 without H, Bally, Caff, Shazza, and (god forbid) Beamer, we're on the back foot before we start - a talented 18 year old isn't going to fix that. Our experienced players are down on morale and becoming an endangered species. How do teams without experienced players go? Ask Brisbane, Gold Coast, and GWS.
