We need a Royal Commission into the lying Liberals

Clearing up a few misconceptions about the Slipper case:

Look, it's a full-time Liberal Party profession, which makes sense given people join and support that particular racket in order to:

(a) Siphon wealth their way (Murdoch, et al.)

(b) Protect wealth from being subject to competition (Turnbull, et al.)

(c) Act as a propagandist or broker for those busy engaging in (a) and (b) in order to feel of a superior class vicariously and receive the adoration of said class (Howard; Abbott; sickly hangers on like Gerard Henderson, et al.)

(d) Promulgate some fanatical religious ideology or social bigotry which is tolerated by wealth because it can be used as a political wedge to divide the popular vote (fundamentalist evangelicals; fearful minority haters; the fearful bigoted elderly; cultural imperialists, et al.)

All of those things require a permanent state of denial and fantasy, which is why Abbott's election campaign and aftermath has been one endless machine gun volley of lies and nonsense.

It has always been, of course; we're just getting slightly better information nowadays.
