Adam Treloar, Jeremy Cameron, Stephen Coniglio, Dylan Shiel, Jonathon Patton and Tom Boyd are all out of contract at the end of next season.

Is there anyway we could snag the 21 year old Shiel from GWS?

He's coming up to his 50th game and from what I've seen has the potential to be an out and out superstar.

If there is any truth to the stories about him wanting to return to Victoria, what could we offer to try and get him to the club?

Offer up Ben Reid for some young guns. Reid in Sydney with brother Sam. Perennially injured but star value and gun defender, with heater.

Interesting that on AFL 360, when talking possible trades, David king raised Ben Reid to GWS for pick 19 and young gun mid. Assuming that that is the deal, and assuming that it is Shiel, would you do it?

He hasn't shown too much yet, but what about Jono O'Rourke? Number 2 pick behind Lachie Whitfield.

King always throws up deals that could be in the works. They're fun, but never come true. (Kinda like us in here lol).

So it's unlikely that it's a real scenario, but if it were and it was up to me....

I'd have to REALLY consider it. I love Reid and he's def in our best 22. But Shiel would also be straight into out 22 and to get pick 19... And after considering Reids injury concerns... I would do it. (Of course this would mean we'd need to address CHF/CHB, which we probably need to do anyway).
