Post subject: MM wants pick of team to play, when he breaks Jocks record ! | |
|
Listening to tony shaw on radio yesterday, his mail is that the old man MM, wants to pick his opponent to play next season in round seven, when he breaks our precious Jock McHales coaching record. Shaw was furious, he reckons no coach should have the authority to dictate to the League how to rig the draw to do that coach a favour, choosing whom he wants to play that day, shawry was not pleased at all. !
Obviously, the vengeful old bloke will pick the Pies in Rd 7, as hed love to break our record, and take it off us on the field, and gift it to his now Bluescum, Hed get some rancid satisfaction out of that, for sure. Of course, we could well beat him, deny him that satisfaction of the win in his big moment, I dunno, just leaves me cold this proposal. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

i read this a couple of weeks ago. thought it a bit odd at the time but can understand the afl's sentiments. so what if he picks collingwood. we tend to play the blues around that time of the year anyway. irrespective of what most on here think of him, it is an incredible achievement and ... you can never take away from him the fact that he is a collingwood premiership coach. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

^ What John Wren said. Spot on.
In any case, you mob of bloody whingers, I have it on very good authority that Malthouse is not the worst coach ever. I am. You heard it here first. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

To be kind to poor Tony, I saw him in those dark lost days in Eltham Safeway and he looked like the walking dead.. I'll never forget 90' so I forgive him, but only just. _________________ All Aboard!! Choo Choo!!! |

fair enough, providing grumpy MM buries it too. Jock was a real Collingwood man thru and thru, one club, MM has coached four. Just saying. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

How is he going to equal McHale's record in round 7? He's 5 behind and they only play 1 Grand Final per year. |

I think it's fair enough. It's not every day a coach becomes the greatest of all time. Fair play to him. _________________ Well done boys! |
