This thread will be devoted to transfer news and updates for the off-season as we head toward the 2014-2015 season in the EPL and other leagues around Europe and the world in general as well.

Primarily the news will relate to the EPL but big transfer news outside of England will also be mentioned.

Ricky Lambert of Southampton is signed by Liverpool.
This just the first of the 'big' club signings.
I guess we can expect Southampton to be gutted by the bigger clubs, as they have produced some excellent players of late and all it takes is a cheque book to strip them of their hard work and excellence in player development.
Shaw, Lallana & Lovren will all be pinched soon too.
A shame.

Great signing by the Gunners to get Sanchez! I'm happy with Fabregas and Costa though Smile

So LVG has announced that Robben would be welcome at Man U. Any chance that could happen?

Not sure if I see the motivation for him to be honest (unless United are willing to pay him really stupid money). Bayern are still one of the best teams in the world and can look forward to having a deep run in the Champions League next season with the addition of Lewandowksi.

I agree, completely - it's a second-rate competition and most of the great players don't play in it - but I guess I'd like him to go to the EPL because I would get to see him play more.

Newcastle have signed Remy Cabella, Emmanuel Riviere and Daryl Janmaat to go with already signing Colbeck, Ayoze, and de Jong. So far they've signed 30mil.

Losing Gosling, Mitchell, Newton for free, Ameobi released, Tavernier undisclosed and Debuchy for 12mil.

Remy Cabella is one to watch mate. One of my favourite young players at the moment. Looking forward to seeing how he does in the Premier League
