Looks like Port and the crows are keeping an eye on Broomhead.

Still we are confident of re signing him.

Let's hope the go home factor does not work against us this time.

It is what it is.

IF we get a gun in return, it could end up being a win - win situation.

You'd think we'd have a fair bit of cap space after last season's departures, so if we want to keep him the deal should get done.

If you were chasing a tall from Adelaide I'd have Talia and Jenkins ahead of Tex on 2014 form. I know Tex is coming back from a knee but Jenkins offers a little more flexibility. Talia is one of the best KPD going around. Prefer to retain Broomhead though and see how he develops. Said elsewhere that he's the classiest kid I've seen at the Pies since Pendles started.

We have to many of his type now.

Maybe worth looking at trading him.

All depends on the trade, where we might get another player who can kick to someone in a Black n White Jumper... Cool

If Adelaide and Port have already got those type of players that they can offer as compensation, why are they chasing Broomhead?

I understand that they'd sweat on SA kids getting homesick and wanting to return to SA but those players remain in the minority, particularly from Victoria. I haven't seen or heard anything about Broomy being homesick.

Based on the little I have seen of him, he has pace and good disposal skills. A definite keeper.

If the price was right we'd consider it.
