I'm still a bit confused by it too. As I understand they are given a contract, but it's still up to a club to honour it. |

On the show they mentioned all AFL clubs will have a chance to draft the winner under the new AFL rule in the draft. I suppose the winner may get the pick a team, and they get allowed to draft him.
They haven't actually said how the new rule affects this, just that all clubs have a chance to draft the winner. _________________ Ðavâgé

Good to see the AFL looking after its TV interests as always. Perhaps the next initiative could be an SMS poll at three quarter time to decide the winning team—loser has to leave the stadium! _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Maybe they could combine master chef and Aussie rules - the players have to cook a three course meal while they play. _________________ Buon Giorno |

Watched it tonight. Interesting. The guy with the nail polish and open relationship got the shaft. Had an ordinary first half in the match against the cons but had a more than decent second half.
Of the 4 up to go I would have booted the little blonde bloke. (in case you haven't gathered, names aint my thing)
Extra interesting, they added to the mix a couple of real tall ring ins, a septic and a paddy, who won some competition to get there.
Looking at it overall, Waylon the indigenous bloke has some serious upside. natural talent is massive, work ethic and determination seriously questionable. Get him focused and you have something.
the kid who got shafted looked to have some tricks. I lean toward he bigger blokes in these situations, munchkins under 6 foot with talent are a dime a dozen, blokes over 6'5" with talent are a tad rarer. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |
