I'll be staggered if Thompson allows him to play the game on his and the pies terms and you'd expect someone like Goddard and Watson when he goes forward will look to engage him from the get go.
Fasolo is the other who'll get much more intention this week you'd imagine.
It should be an interesting battle of wills between the two coaches. |
According to The Age today, the only thing Goddard will be on is a seat in the members.
As for Watson, I'll have a quiet shilling on the Caff. _________________ If you used to barrack for the 'Pies, you never barracked for the 'Pies. |

Oops - double post. Serves me right for having YouTube of last quarter of Pies v Princess Parks 1988 on at the same time.

The years may pass and the games come and go but this clip always cheers me up, especially on those nights when the other mob outscores us, usually with the assistance of the Green Galahs.
Just looking at that wonderful clip again - not sure if the 14th or 15th goal is my favourite. 14th came about because Banksy poleaxed Alvin but 15th features Millane, Banks and Starcevich - mmm - getting all warm and fuzzy just watching it. _________________ If you used to barrack for the 'Pies, you never barracked for the 'Pies. |
