Post subject: More ticketing disgrace. | |
|
So just bought tickets for the Carlton game on Friday week. 5 Collingwood Football Club Members 2 non members. Trying to by tickets in Q49 Olympic Stand for all of us and the ticket seller tells us that Members cannot upgrade into those seats they are only available to the General public.
It is $14 per upgrade and $34 for without. So the only way we can sit with our non member friends is sit in worse seats or pay the $34, what is the point of membership I ask. I am a 18 game home and away social club member if I subtract the social club cost I am paying $350 for 18 games approx $20 per match. What is the point of Club membership. |

That is just ridiculous. I'm a 20 year member and i'm actually considering not renewing next year because this is just a rort. When our membership supposedly covers 18 games, you should not have to pay 1 cent more on top of the membership price for the privilege of attending any game.
Nothing worse than finding out that an upcoming game is announced as being fully ticketed, then you pay the extra price, then see so many empty seats, like Rd 3 last year vs. Hawthorn.

I also wondered if their is any value in holding a membership that doesn't include a 'reserved seat'. Is there any benefit under this variable pricing model? _________________ How would Siri know when to answer "Hey Siri" unless it is listening in to everything you say? |

No, now that the afl has brought in the variable seating and being Collingwood it is used for most games, you are best to have a membership with a reserved seat. will be doing it with my afl membership next season if I renew _________________ B.U.M.S ROCK...That's Ballarat United Magpies Supporters.....Long trip but even longer hangovers! |

A very good question. No point at all except an expensive donation to the club. _________________ Rain or hail, I wag my tail |

i am a 68 yr/old with a bad back injury, i cannot sit for too long(10-15 mins)so therefore this year bought an 18 home and away season ticket so i can watch the game standing which does,nt worry me much, but now i find my membership will not get me into the gee, on anzac day so iv,e had to buy a seat for another$$25 and the same next week for the carlton game, which as a pensioner i can,t afford so i wont be able to go, a fair dinkum disgrace |
