Which Scum players??? Out them now.
If true, looks like a throwback to the 80's where players were not happy at the big money being paid to recruit certain players. Created disharmony within the team and impacted on field performances. |

^^Well, just look at Melbourne. Mitch Clark retires, and they win a game .
Maybe all the Swans and Blues need to regain form is for Buddy and Daisy to retire . _________________ Well done boys! |

It would be quite hilarious if the old man were to get the sack sometime this year and Thomas was stuck there for a further 3 years without him. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Ironically enough it was Malthouse who forced Scotland to seek out more opportunity elsewhere.
It was a bad coaching decision at the time as Scotland proved to be more than useful as an AFL player and it was clear (to me at least) that would be the case during his time at the pies. _________________ He's mad. He's bad. He's MaynHARD! |

Who did we trade him for again? iirc we made some deal (might have involved several clubs, can't remember..) and we had a few good young talents, one of them had to go and Scotland was the one outed (I have always tried to look on him kindly due to that fact - the Pie blue). _________________ All Aboard!! Got pick 35 for him and used it to get Brent Hall. A WA tall who only played one game. Lost out big time on that deal. |

It's a biased pile of crap.
Someone should write such an article about Taylor Adams.
After all he was a young gun, world at his feet, and he moved to Collingwood and a month later he's a VFL player. "Looks totally lost on the field", said one loyal fan, and though the Pies have managed to win two games, it's quite obvious that the blame for losses against Geelong and Fremantle lays at Taylor's feet.
It's just as clear that he'll never amount to anything, unlike other players who have changed clubs and been good, but all of them must have been instantly integrated into their new sides without any settling in period, coz if you don't get Brownlow votes in your first four games you'll never improve. _________________ they can smell what we're cookin' |

While some of it plausible, it's mainly horse shit. Trying to pass off what he wants to believe as fact, it's a pretty sloppy effort. _________________ Formally frankiboy and FrankieGoesToCollingwood. |

What a disgraceful collection of half-truths and flat-out lies, any Collingwood supporter who believes a word of it or worse, enjoyed it, is not someone Collingwood wants as a supporter. Disloyal, fickle, faint-hearted and perfectly suited to being a Collingwood administrator!
So Daisy's pre-injury form was suspect, was it? He was picked by most as BOG in his last full game for us (StKilda, Rd6 2013). He was everywhere, and was spectacular, probably the difference in a tight game. Dale was getting better by the year, and is still 26 or 27, moreover, and more importantly Daisy Thomas did NOT leave, he was pushed, it's a fu^%$#g FACT, if you don't know it by now, you're an idiot!
THAT’S RIGHT, HE WAS PUSHED!!!!!!!
He didn't want to leave, the idiots running the club at the time (though there are signs of improvement, there bloody better be!!!) had decided mid-to-late 2013 that they wanted rid of Daisy because they didn't believe the doctors, because they were too stupid to take Daisy's off-field value to the club, because they have no concept of loyalty, and because Buckley FAILED to win Daisy's confidence. He wasn't a big fan of the Daisy style as a teammate, & it showed when he became coach.
The powers that were told Daisy & Heater they were leaving, Heater said it in an interview and the Collingwood silence in reply was overwhelming. They were TOLD not to attend the joke of a Copeland-Eddie-Bucks-love-in because they wouldn't have been convincing in the "I love Buckley" interviews which were the feature of a Goebbells-like propaganda exercise which would have had the club-footed Nazi in rapturous applause. Amazingly, it fooled no one (Swanny gave the lie to the evening by begging fans not to turn on these blokes when they left the club) except the media who ONLY want negative stories, the many good things that happen in our game simply don't sell papers.
In the end Daisy was lucky enough to be thrown a big-number lifeline (Collingwood wouldn't have matched a $100 per year offer, their minds were made up). Daisy would have been mentally retarded to reject the offer, regardless of who made it, and I don't believe he will have any trouble earning it.
At the moment he lacks match fitness after 2 years almost bereft of football, and yet is already showing signs of his legendary brilliance. He was among Carlton's best in the first half against Melbourne, as he has been in all their games this year, straighter kicking would have seen him win the game against Port.
Make no mistake, there was a reason Leigh Matthews called him "Possibly the best in the game". He will end up as one of Carltons best 2 or 3 , just watch, all he lacks is the phenomenal 'engine' required by our great game, you don't get that back after four games, are you kidding? Who ever did that? Give him ten games and you'll see why he's worth 700K & more.
Those fools who still think he walked for money, either educate yourself or shut the $#@ up. Then watch his next first half.
This story is a media creation, completely & utterly, this moron produced clever quotes (he can use the internet!!!) but none from Carlton. Blues fans aren't bitching, why would they?! They have way bigger problems than having grabbed a gun from their worst enemy!
If were lucky Fasolo or another will provide us with what Daisy has, it's looking hopeful.

Sorry 35forever you're in denial mate. We ALL wanted Daisy to stay, but just not at the price he wanted. Good business decision by the club. End of story. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'

Why would we match 700K per annum for Daisy?
At his absolute best (you know his single AA year) he wasn't worth that much. If we lost a potential 10 year 200+ game kid because we paid overs for an injury prone smart arse like Thomas then I'd be spewing and questioning the sanity of the powers that be but they were smart enough to realize we'd seen the best of him and we've got youngsters that have surpassed and replaced him on our list.
Maybe you should focus on the Pendlebury's, Beams, Scharenbergs, Josh Thomas's and Jamie Elliotts, you know the present and future stars instead of yesterdays hero, hey 35Forever!
Your constant harping about Malthouse and D.Thomas and shit canning of a true loyal Collingwood great in Buckley is as tiresome as it is pathetic. Plus your long winded posts are $£$%^%%$ torture to read. Maybe hire yourself an editor or think your posts through instead of posting such stream of consciousness snore-fests. |
