Really really really really really hard at work at the moment. People off sick, no replacement staff, soooooooo busy, so many assessments. it's very very very hard ATM.
On the upside it was wonderful to meet some genuinely lovely & genuinely mad people. It makes a difference and makes the job enjoyable.
1 x drug f*cked individual who has no prospects except jail & at at such a young age can barely read - I love it (not) when the social workers give out pamphlets & written instructions & forget to ask the person if they can bloody well read FFS - talk about smug middle class assumptions. It does get hard to see young people like that. Even as an atheist I often say "by the grace of god go I.
Then the new owners next door are going to pull down the lovely old clinker brick tudor style house with lots of trees - all going & building 2 x 4 bedroom semi detached houses with virtually no backyards - all the rage here. Looked at the plans at council today. I'm off to write my objections. Too big, privacy issues. Means I can't sunbathe naked in the backyard now
Caulfield South used to have so many trees & gardens. Still has lots of parks & gardens but in terms of housing, everything is becoming dual, triple occupancy & there are too many cars on the roads here. Anyway..... _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

Since when can you put an offer on a place, the vendor accepts it, but it's still on the market/open for inspection until the end of my cooling off??
Supposedly the agent won't tell anyone my offer, but if there are higher offers over the weekend I get to offer more.
Time to find someone to go to the opens & bag the place. |
Suss out the location and neighbours, pay your brother and some of his mates to hang round next door looking like locals and behaving like drunken ferals. You know the drill, making it like they live next door, suggestive remarks to any female etc. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I reckon it's a role that he would find quite easy to slip into. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Ever since I accidentally stood on them, the glass in my best pair of $20 reading glasses points downwards at about 30 degrees rather than straight ahead, which is annoying. I've tried bending the wire frames back up again but I can't bend them any further without breaking the hinges, so I just push the glasses up on my nose to reduce the angle as far as possible but then the inside of the glass touches my eyelashes every time I blink, which is also annoying. I have made an appointment with a doctor to ask about having my ears lowered. _________________ Let's eat Grandma. Commas save lives! |

Instead of ears lowered or eyes highered, cant you just scoop the eyes out and wedge them forward a bit? 3.14etc could probably rig up something to hold the eyeballs 5-10 mm further forward. I bet it would somehow involve a Stihl chainsaw though. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

I'd give it a go but I'd have to use a brush-cutter and some Round-up first.
