2006: Finishes out of the top 8 as an also-ran 10th.

The Weapon arrives in the summer of 06/07.

2007: Finishes on top, 3 games clear and wins the Grand Final by a record 129 points.

Sustains the pace for most of the next 5 years.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Well, IIRC he was against the Roman Empire, but I'm not sure what he thought of Geelong Razz Wink

I agree with Bruno. Always suspected their five year run was too good to be true.

YES ! AND hasnt Pendles said, re the last qtr of the GF v the Pies " We could not believe how fit and fresh they were continuing on, we were tired, they looked fresh, all muscles and bulked up "

AND. Look at Hunts legs, like f-cking tree trunks. !

Take two Weapon induced flags off these Cat freaks now. ! They did it to the Melb Storm, for much less.

That's a bit harsh, calling fellow supporters maggots like that.

Can't tell me you haven't wondered. Unless you think the water is something special down that way.

We will see. That's all I'm saying.

I'll wait and see!

Want a lot more proof before making a decision like that.

No need for proof when slinging innuendo...tainted, plain and simple.

Well the investigation into the cat's has started.

www.news.com.au/sport/afl/afl-vows-to-investigate-the-weapons-former-clubs/story-fnelctok-1226573889644

Eddie is being quite positive about the pies operations, which is good to hear. If any Collingwood player has taken something, it won't be as a result of the club giving it to them. It would be off their own bat.

Interesting to see that the lion's may also be questioned.

He never said "bigger stronger faster", it was more about our relentless pressure. Actually, I remember starting a thread about it with the news link. If you watch the game you'll see that our intensity, discipline and game plan were the keys to winning that game. They were still bigger and stronger, perhaps not faster but I think our youth had more to do with that. This sort of thing has happened for over 100 years with up and coming sides trying to take the mantle from the established champions. Any complacency by the latter will often see them get blown out of the water.

If Asterix is against Geelong's premierships, then Obelix is against them too, let's also not forget that Asterix was on the juice as well- so has no place criticising performance enhancing potions used at Essendope and Human growth Geebung!
