Bye Chris, and thanks for the memories.A wonderfully talented and exciting player who always gave his very best for the club.

Oh,and the best bit of eye candy to ever put on a Collingwood jumper,or any kind of jumper for that matter.

Probably got the timing right. Great career, hope we can send him off with what he deserves.

Brilliant servant of the club. Love that shot of him and the jumper grab.

If only one T Cloke took some notes...

I knew his time was up after Ed had both Tarrant boys on his show Sad

Thanks for plenty of wonderful memories Taz and all the best in your future endeavors. Hopefully you'll stay at the Club in some sort of capacity, you have plenty of knowledge to pass on.
And maybe just maybe you can retire with that elusive premiership medallion...

Thommo,Max Richardson, Tuddy, McKenna, Kink and numerous others all departed the club NOT at a time of their choosing.

Taz leaves with his head held high and, hopefully with a Premiership medallion swinging from his neck.

Three daughters very sad tonight at the loss of eye-candy which has sustained them for 15 seasons....

Get breeding Taz. I want my grandchildren to have an object of lust at least equal to Tazza....

I've probably seen marks as good as those two somewhere, some time. Not saying I have, but probably so. But by god I've never seen a better one.

One of my all time faves. I was shattered when he went to freo, and rapt when he came back home. I'd love to see him with a premiership medal.

All the best, Taz.

Go the pies

This is the video of him getting drafted cracked me up. Especially when asked what he knew about Collingwood.

Good luck in the future Chris, you loved the black and white and we can't ask for more than that.

(and viewers don't get depressed at how good we were under the "Old Man" either)

A wonderful player and he will be missed when he officially retires. Some of my favourite Chris Tarrant moments are:

*His fantastic pack mark on Queens Birthday 2001 against Melbourne. It was unlucky he didn't receive the mark of the year award. It went to Gary Moorcroft from Essendon that year.

*His stunning 7 goal performance against Melbourne on Queens Birthday in 2002.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVJlGgEECic

*The memorable goal after the siren to sink the Adelaide Crows in Round 7 2003 to win by 5 points. An amazing match to watch on television.

*Mark of the year against Geelong in round 18 2003.

*Another great mark against North Melbourne in round 4 2005.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IB9sTGwlRO8

*His first Collingwood goals since he returned against Adelaide in round 9 2011.
