Although I'm not sure that they're going to replace Sanchez - he's just been resigned for 5 years. And, speaking seriously, if you have a QB who can throw more or less adequately, why would you want Tebow? It's like replacing Brett Favre with Donald Duck. |

I'm not a fan of Tebow the QB, I've made no secret of that fact. In saying that I believe a player like Tebow can make any team better purely because of his power running game from the QB position.
If they play him in a Wildcat formation he will be effective given the defensive will be concerned about his ability to hurt them running the ball if they blitz to heavily. Plus he can pass the ball, poorly at distance but much more effectively on short routes.
If they tandem him with Sanchez it could be a very dangerous pairing because if the opposition defence blitz to much or starts playing a more pass orientated defence then they can send Tebow in to change things up and keep the defence off balance.
Don't get me wrong I don't think this is a SuperBowl offence, but that's mainly because of Sanchez. I just don't think he's good enough, he needs to great improve his decision making and toughness in the contest to become the QB the Jets need him to be. _________________ A Collingwood supporter since the egg was inseminated. |

The 2012 NFL schedule is now out. You can see it on the NFL site but there is a very convenient format on ESPN See: http://espn.go.com/nfl/schedule
Well, OEP, looks like we know what you, me and Yarra Falls End will be watching on Monday, 10 September 2012. That's right - 49ers vs the Packers at Lambeau Field 4:15 PM (US Eastern Time, Sunday, September 9).
Talk about a big start to their seasons! |

Interesting schedule.Several back to back games at Lambeau make it tempting for a return visit next season.
What about the new Saints controversy overnight, eavesdropping on the opposition coaches in 2002-2004.Have they no morals in Louisana.

Your being funny aren't you Fev in the first round. If he goes in the draft at all it'll be late 7th round, but most likely will be taken as a free agent after the draft and have to compete for his spot.
Love my 49ers pick - A.J.Jenkins - finally a serious vertical threat that can stretch the field and in doing so give Smith a dangerous deep threat and open the sides and middle of the field for Vernon Davis and Manningham / Crabtree to work in. It will also give Gore and Hunter more field to play with when they mix him in with their run plays to pull the Safeties deep and to the sides to cover him. This pick makes the 49ers offense instantly more dangerous and far less predictable.
There are also some serious talent still yet to be picked:
Lamar Miller - RB
Stephen Hill + Rueben Randle + Mohamed Sanu - all WR's
Coby Fleener + Dwayne Allen - both TE's
Glenn Cordy - T
Peter Konz - C
Andre Branch - DE
Courtney Upshaw - LB (can't believe he's still on the board)
Janoris Jenkins + Alfonzo Dennard + Jayron Hosley (though he may be undersized at only 178 pounds) - all CB's
Would love for the 49ers to target either Stephen Hill, Glenn Cordy, Peter Konz, Courtney Upshaw or Janoris Jenkins with there future picks. Would be ecstatic if they grabbed Upshaw, Hill and Konz.
I just looked at the specialists board and the Human Turd isn't listed for drafting. He may not have nominated. _________________ A Collingwood supporter since the egg was inseminated. |

I'm deadly serious, OEP. Fev is going to take the QB spot from Alex Smith and No 4 is going to come out of retirement to lead Brisbane from CHF in the absence of Jonathan Brown. |
