Hey Ytry,
I stated that cumquat Robertson was forced to say positive things about Collingwood merely because there were two teams out there and eventually he would have to concede that Collingwood played well.

Even if we were 10 goals in front the wrinkled urine bag would still highlight the opposition's problems rather than the positives of the pies. The guy knows that he would be dragged off air unless he appeared to be doing his f---ing job.

And that's the point isn't it, the meathead is supposed to be doing a job as a commentator-not have a hidden agenda for his silver arsed slags being the Blues.

I crawl with disgust when I think of his three toothed head appearing for the first time at the beginning of the broadcast that pretty much resigns me to the next three hours of boring, garbled vomit from this tedious man that uses phrases from 1950, and makes statements as if he was the Don Bradman of the game back in his time.

Let me tell you this Robertson, you are giving nothing back to the game by sticking your over-weathered head on the Tv and the more you attempt to dissect and analyse a game of AFL the more I have visuals of a gorilla sitting in your seat and coming away with more dignity.

You're a great critic of players and I just love it when the play gets a little too fast and you have major trouble stating what happenened and where/why the free kick came from.

Give it up, get in line at a retirement home and donate your ties to charity.

London Dave, the MCC polled their members late last year (and maybe the public through the net), and one question related to the Voice of the Gee. I can not remember the alternatives, but the response was so overwhelming he was removed immediately. THUCKING YEAH, thats what I say.

As for the worst media commentator, at the moment I would have to say, in this order,
1. Dermot Brereton
2. Jason Dunstall
3. Paul Salmon

There commentary for any Hawks game is so biased that the Lions watching the TeeVee must have had to turn on the radio to check that there team really won.

It's a must to be at every Collingwood vs Hawthorn game, so you do not have to put up with the commentary on the tele.

worst commentator on any Media is, and has always been, REX HUNT!
I had the misfortune to tune into a radio broadcast once (as the ABC did not carry the 'Pies game) and I could not work out who had the ball and what the score was.
Ch. 7 tried him last year and I'm hopeful that it was a one-off, this guy does not deserve to be heard.

Nice call Black_White. As a commentator, Rex makes a great fisherman. He used to do the intros for the AFL show we get here, which made watching the footy that little bit harder. Ch 7, in their infinite wisdom, replaced him a year or so ago with another dork who should be on evveryones list. Gerard Healy, man with a quadruple charisma bypass! Sometimes change is not as good as the status quo.

london Dave, we see that highlights package here on a tuesday night. It is fascinating to see Healey try to explain the rules to English/American viewers.
I think you're right about him, so maybe Ch.7 can take a leaf out of it's own book and say "You are the weakest link Gerard...GOODBYE!"
