It was an interesting fact that the Pies haven't
lost when buckley has been missing. Also it was good
to see the reserves get back on the winning list.
No small part to the fact that experienced players
like M and T Francis, Osborne and Wright were playing
in the reserves. Its not a bad idea keeping some
experienced players who are a bit past it in the
reserves, their experience may rub off on the younger
players and help them prepare for senior footy. I saw
Brad Smith kicked 6 goals in the reserves, someone said
that as a ruckman he was a crab, but he may make a useful
marking forward if that reserves match was anything
to go on. Thats a big 'If' though.
