One thing I will say if the club is to sack Shaw they might
as well do it before the end of the season rather than
wait to the end and have the chance of missing out
on some better coaches available that may be picked
up by other clubs. Thats if Shaw goes. As for the
players there are a few who just don't look like staying
on. Osborne, Wright, Tony Francis and Monkhorst
most of the time look to be somewhat past it. They are fairly slow make
too many mistakes for players of their experience.
The only reason these guys get senior matches is because
of our poor recruiting over the last 5 years. There has
been no quality youngsters to force them out of the
seniors. Problem with Monkey is a replacement. He
probably should be kept on till a replacement is found,
and even then as a mentor to the next ruckman.
Anyway who would except him in a trade?
