I went to Sydney and Melbourne last August. When I was there I was introduced to footy and just love it. It's such a shame though, because I can rarely find it on TV here in the states. Good on ya, Nick. What a great page! I have been a Collingwood supporter all my life (37 years), as have all my family (it's like a birthmark...I had no choice in getting it, and I will never be able to get rid of it completely...not that I would ever want to!). The 'pies are going great guns this year, and I am really pleased. But like all Collingwood supporters, I don't really care if they play like dogs, because I love 'em anyway. I have just read some of the other comments here, and I loved the one about the dogs and the horses. I am not quite that fanatical, although I do own a horse called Twiggy (named after Twiggy Dunne, I suspect) and two monochrome dogs (one black and white and the other all white with some black spots). My only other comment is that some of the other posters ought to get a life (rather than telling you to get one, Nick) and learn some manners (swearing only indicates that they have a lack of education!!). Keep up the good work Nick, you are a star. Carn the 'pies.

Excellent page, Nick. I am over 70, and husband nearly 80. He has barracked for Collingwood since he was 5 years old. Children mostly named after Collingwood players. Hi my name is Jackson Brooke and I am huge fan of the Collingwood Football Club. I play for West Football Club in Alice Springs, I participate in under 18's and I also play for our A grade side. In last year's season I won the leagues Best and Fairest medal for A grade and also the under 18's best and fairest medal. I am 185cm tall and way 87kg, I am 16 and this is the reason why my name is not in the draft yet. But when I am old enough I hope that you will send a scout to Alice to see my potential. It is my firm belief that Collingwood will make the finals this year. Perhaps the top four. This is due to a number of reasons. A) Sav and Anthony working well together. B) Browny's return to courageous form. C) No longer an inexperienced side with nearly all players with one or two years under their belt. We hold top position now, like we will at the end of the year.

The most disappointing thing for me this year has been hearing racial abuse from a large group of Collingwood supporters who sit behind me at the MCG. I understand that abusive language will always be a part of football but we will not tolerate racism on the field or in the "outer". If these "few" people can't change, stay at home! we don't want you giving Collingwood and football a bad name.
