| Alf Andrews is a person who
was passionately interested in this topic before he began writing it and
realised how uninteresting academia would make it. Be that as it may,
the scholarship (with stipend) that he received whilst writing this
thesis allowed him to move to the alleged home of football, Melbourne.
The thesis didn't completely kill his love of football. He is still devoted to his football team (Collingwood) and is a passionate cheersquad member. |
